Hours of National Service Testimony
The Voices for National Service Coalition was born
as the Save AmeriCorps Coalition in 2003 in response
to dramatic cuts to AmeriCorps funding. Our first
event was "Voices for AmeriCorps: 100 Hours
of National Service Testimony," which was held
in Washington, DC from September 2-6, 2003.
Hundreds of national service champions testified
throughout the 100 hours in 2003.
